YOUR PERSONAL HOLIDAY INSURANCE
We have arranged special travel insurance with Bartlett & Company Ltd and travel insurance specialists P J Hayman & Company Ltd that is underwritten by the United Kingdom branch of Union Reiseversicherung AG. A summary of the cover is shown below. Full details of the policies, showing terms, conditions and exclusions are available on request. A copy of the policies will be sent to you with your booking confirmation or on request at any time.
BENEFITS SUMMARY
Our policy provides the following cover, per person:-
Cancellation charges up to £4,000
Departure delay £20 for each 12 hour delay (up to a maximum of £100)
or,
Holiday abandonment up top £4,000 (after 24 hours delay)
Missed departure up to £1,000
Personal possessions up to £2,000
Single item limit £250 Valuables limit £250
Personal money up to £500 cash limit - £250
Emergency medical expenses up to £5,000,000 (including 24 hour emergency assistance)
State hospital in-patient benefit £20 each 24 hours - £1,000 maximum
Curtailment up to £4,000
Personal liability up to £2,000,000
Personal accident Death benefit £10,000, Loss of eye(s)/limb(s) £15,000, Total disablement £15,000
Legal advice & expenses up to £25,000
Policy Excesses: An excess is the amount you have to pay towards each claim. The following excesses which apply to this policy, are payable by each insured person (unless indicated otherwise):
£75 per booking – Cancellation & Curtailment
£75 per person – Holiday Abandonment and Emergency medical expenses
(£25 per booking – loss of deposit claims)
£50 per person – Personal Possessions, Personal Money and personal liability (other than damage to holiday accommodation - £250 per person) claims.
£75 per person – Legal advice (after free 30 minute consultation).
The policy excess under Cancellation, Curtailment and Emergency medical expenses may be increased to include pre-existing medical conditions confirmed in writing by Travellers HealthCheck (see below).
SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING YOUR HEALTH
Your policies may not cover claims arising from your pre-existing medical conditions so you need to tell us of anything you know that is likely to affect our acceptance of your cover.
Pre-existing medical conditions – so that we can ensure you are provided with the best cover we can offer please read the following questions carefully:

2. In the last two years – have you, or anyone who is traveling with you, been treated for any serious or re-occurring medical condition, asked to take regular prescribed medication, or referred to a specialist or consultant at a hospital for tests, diagnosis or treatment?
If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of the above questions you must tell us, we may be able to offer some cover and may be able to cover your medical condition, although an increased premium may be required. After buying our travel insurance you will be provided with a policy document showing the telephone number of Travellers HealthCheck. You will need to contact them to see if additional cover is available. This service can only be used once cover has been purchased. All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Should any additional premium be required this should be paid either by credit card or cheque, made payable to Travellers HealthCheck within 14 days of your call. Should you decide not to pay the additional premium the declared medical condition will not be covered. Full confirmation of any revision to the terms and conditions will be sent out to your address after your call. Any additional medical conditions not declared to us will not be covered.
