Car Breakdown Cover

YOUR VEHICLE BREAKDOWN INSURANCE

Most standard vehicle breakdown cover does not cover overseas travel. A breakdown, accident, fire or theft can potentially ruin your holiday. Our special vehicle breakdown and recovery policy enables you to take or continue your holiday, and provides cover from the moment you leave home until the time you return. We have arranged a special Breakdown scheme with Bartlett & Company Ltd and travel insurance specialists P J Hayman & Company Ltd to cover clients booking through us. Did you know that most standard policies only pay for you to be taken to the nearest garage. This policy provides you with a replacement vehicle if you cannot use your vehicle for at least 8 hours. The replacement vehicle can be used to get you to your holiday destination and back again to collect your own vehicle after the repair has been done.

This insurance is underwritten by Mondial Assistance Europe N.V. and administered in the United Kingdom by Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited. Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Mondial Assistance Europe N.V. is authorised by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and regulated by the Financial Services Authority for the conduct of UK business.

Mondial Assistance Europe N.V. follows the Financial Ombudsman Service code of conduct for complaints and is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

VEHICLES COVERED

The vehicle covered must be:

A car, motorcycle over 120cc, motorised caravan, minibus, light van, estate car, or 4x4 sport utility vehicle registered in the UK. Towed caravans or trailers are not covered unless agreed in writing by the insurers and additional premium paid.
